In broad terms, my research aims towards understanding the frontiers of the theory of General Relativity and contributing to identifying which properties would have a quantum theory for gravity. During my PhD at the University of Barcelona, my work has been mainly focused on black holes understood as collective UV states in the context of gravity as self completed theory. Added to this, I have been working on different aspects of theoretical cosmology; mainly on the cosmological constant problem ranging from its 'local' observable effect to different proposals of its fundamental structure. Given the importance and necessity of addressing these issues from a philosophical perspective and a foundations of physics point of view, I joined the research team of the PROTEUS project as a postdoctoral researcher.
