Laura Marongiu

Postdoc in History of Philosophy
Department of Philosophy - University of Milan

I received my PhD in Philosophy at the Universities of Cagliari and Cologne (cotutelle) in 2019. Before joining PROTEUS, I was a visiting assistant in research at Yale University (2018) and worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the University of Cologne (2019-2021). My research interests are mainly in ancient and late ancient philosophy, with special emphasis on Platonism, cosmology, the history of mathematics and the role of models and examples. In January 2022 I joined the research team of the PROTEUS project, working on Plato’s Timaeus and its medieval and early modern reception.
